Sciatica & Nerve Related Symptoms
Osteopathy for Sciatica & Nerve Symptoms
Sciatica can cause pain or altered sensation from the lower back or buttock into the leg. At our Pimlico clinic, Kevin assesses symptoms alongside movement, relevant neurological signs, daily activities and contributing factors. Symptoms can occur with or without back pain and may have several possible causes.
Kevin will take a detailed history, assess movement and relevant clinical signs, then explain his findings in clear language. Where appropriate, care may focus on symptom management, maintaining suitable activity and gradual rehabilitation, with referral for further medical assessment when needed.
Where osteopathic care is suitable, treatment may include individual hands on techniques, movement advice and rehabilitation to help manage symptoms and support a confident return to everyday activity.
